VACC call for nominations for the Board of Directors

The Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition is looking for enthusiastic
cyclists to join its Board of Directors
Elections for the new Board will be held at the VACC Annual General
Meeting.
WHERE: Bonsor Community Centre 6550 Bonsor, Burnaby (near Metrotown)
WHEN: Saturday, March 23, 2002 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Duties/Responsibilities/Pleasures/Perks of the position include:
- A commitment to cycling as a means of transportation
- Knowledge of (or interest in learning about) cycling issues in the
Lower Mainland
- Participation in regular e-mail correspondence with the Board
- Desire to initiate new directions for the VACC
- Participation in VACC-sponsored activities
- Attendance at bi-monthly Board meetings
- Chair or act as a liaison to one of the committees
- Work with a keen, positive group of people
- The satisfaction of knowing you're making a positive contribution to
the cycling community
The expected time commitment is about 8 to 12 hours per month, and each
term is two years.
Nominations (self or other) will be accepted at the AGM.
We look forward to seeing you there.

the Lower Mainland. Some great net working could follow.
